New Earth Like Planet Discovered! Gilese 581
Posted by Greenbee on October 1, 2010
Gliese 581 a new Earth like planet was discovered. Our planet now has a close relative, like a sister planet not some distant cousin, a big sister that is three times our size. This newly discovered planet is located in a neighboring galaxy a short hop skip if we would figure out how the whole warp speed thing works. Since we have yet to do so or open some worm hole it is 200 trillion kilometers away so start saving those miles. If we travel the speed light it would take 20 years to get there. As we humans we are the Goldilocks of species, one planet is too hot, another too cold, another has noxious gases in the air. This planet is neither too hot or cold. It rotates around it’s own sun and yet has no sunrise or sunset… try to imagine that if you can. The likely hood of this planet having life is very good. Now if you are thinking with this discovery you now have an excuse to trash the planet because we have somewhere to go think again. We still need to do our part to keep this planet from going to shit… Still this is a great discovery and I just can’t wait to learn more about this new sister planet… dubbed by researchers “Planet G” I can just imagine these researcher nerds so ecstatic that so many are now befriending them on Facebook finally.
